How do I find the full text of a dissertation?

Answer

There are two ways to find the full-text of a dissertation:

  1. Using Cyclone Search
  2. Using the Dissertations & Theses @ Centenary University database.

 

To find the full-text of a dissertation using Cyclone Search:

  • Go to the library home page (https://libguides.centenaryuniversity.edu/home)
  • Type or copy/paste the title of the dissertation you are searching for into the search box.
  • When the results appear, click on the title of the dissertation.
  • In the new screen, scroll down until see the OpenURL link.
  • Click on this link to access the full-text of the dissertation.

 

To find the dissertation using the dissertation database:

  • Go to the database
  • Type or copy/paste the title of the dissertation you searching for into the search box
  • Hit search
  • Find the desired dissertation in the results list
  • Click on the "Full text - PDF button under the title to access the dissertation
